Voices From The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear

Rally-goers share their hopes for next Congress's agenda

Monday, November 01, 2010

Over the weekend, Takeaway host Celeste Headlee and Washington correspondent Todd Zwillich talked to people at Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear to find out why they came and what they hoped would be the new Congress's legislative agenda.

So credit to John Hockenberry for aksing the question, predicting the obvious and the inevitable query:

The Takeaway had two correspondents at the Stewart/Colbert rally, and zero correspondents at the Glenn Beck rally.

Explain.

Todd Zwillich could not answer the question. John Hockenberry did not answer the question. Perhaps, through the use of their skill, training and experience as, uh, journalists, someone at The Takeaway, might just possibly know someone who could answer the question. Like, say, a producer of the public radio program, "The Takeaway."
