Over the weekend, the State Department issued an alert to American travelers in Europe, yet many travelers aren't necessarily taking it seriously. Has a decade of constant terror alerts made Americans cynical about the threat of terror?

Here's where my concern about this risk rates among my fears:
it's above my fear of encountering revolutionary war ghosts while hiking, it's below my fear of Republicans gaining a majority.
