An article to be published in the August 10, 2008, New York Times magazine provocatively asks, “Is Obama the End of Black Politics?” The Takeaway tests that notion with the article’s author.
Guests: Matt Bai, political journalist and author of next Sunday's New York Times magazine article, “Is Obama the End of Black Politics?" and Takeaway contributor David Wall Rice, a post-Civil Rights generation professor who teaches at historically-black Morehouse College in Atlanta.
