Layoffs hit the virtual world as Reuters closes its Second Life bureau

Virtual reality world Second Life loses a news bureau.
Reporter Eric Krangel seemed to have the perfect beat. As Reuters’ correspondent to virtual world Second Life. Krangel thought he’d have his pick of gripping stories. Instead, he found himself engaged in virtual thumb-twiddling. Now, Reuters says it's closing its Second Life bureau and Eric Krangel joins us to talk about why reporting from the virtual world failed to catch on.
