John, I have suspected for weeks, since the beginning of the Takeaway that you were a Barack Obama partisan. Your rhetorical questions about Bill Clinton today again brought this to mind. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this, but if you expect listeners to think you have not taken sides then you are sadly mistaken. Why don't you just come clean? Or are a Maureen Dowd type pundit who just picks on the person you perceive as the loser of the moment? Either way, it makes the Takeaway, at two hours now, even less focused. The show can't seem to make up its mind if it wants to do reporting or political editorializing. Either is fine. Make up your minds.
