Here’s a headline that may surprise you: The federal budget deficit is shrinking.  What’s more, it’s shrinking far faster than anyone in Washington anticipated it would.

That bit of information, together with a slew of other recent economic reports about the state of the housing market and consumer confidence paint a brighter picture of the economy than we’ve gotten used to seeing.

Charlie Herman, WNYC Business Editor shares an update on the state of the economy.

I wonder what the outcry would have been if this had happened during the *Bush* administration... (or if the IRS had targeted liberal groups)

This type of government activity is exactly what will bring on a second Civil War and the future of America. The American people are tired sick and tired of the government telling them what to do and when to do it! The American people are tired of the empty promises the government keeps making the American people are tired of the ease dropping the lies the political cover ups all in the name of national security who is going to provide a security from our government who is going to stand up and fight for the American people I know the young Muslim president that we have will not

Really? Did I just hear your guess Ronald Kepler, or whatever his name is, just say that if President Obama had tapped a woman or a minority to become FBI director, his choice would have been nothing more then a ceremonial quota being fulfilled. And that the job went to the best "qualified" individual in the body of a white man? Unbelievable!

So the sequester worked and the administration was proved wrong. Can we listen to the Republican House about debt reduction now?
Just a reminder - the Tea Party gave us the Republican House.
