Three Cleveland Women Missing for Years Found Alive

Tuesday, May 07, 2013

Yesterday, three women, Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight, missing since 2003, 2004 and 2002, respectively, were found alive in a house on Cleveland's West Side. The women were apparently kidnapped and held for years as prisoners by Ariel Castro, a Cleveland school bus driver. M.L. Schultze, web editor for WKSU, recounts the details of this remarkable story. Sylvia Colon, a cousin of Gina DeJesus, describes her reaction when she realized her cousin was alive.
