Hillary Clinton is set to testify on Benghazi today in front of the Senate foreign relations committee and the House foreign affairs committee. Todd Zwillich, Takeaway Washington correspondent, is watching the hearings.
Secretary of State Clinton didn't answer the questions raised by Senator McCain: why didn't the embassy have more security? why didn't they get support when attacked? who gave Susan Rice the talking points which said that the attack was the result of an anti-Islam video, and was it to suppress the reality of rising Al Queda to match the Democratic campaign narrative?
Clinton held the Benghazi victims’ families and lied. No news here. Move funds to keep agents safe. [Air America/CIA widow Jon Merkel KIA Laos 18 Feb 70.]
I am confused as to why an NPR station is discussing Beyonce performance. Our country has had another school shooting in Texas. Two armed students shooting it out in a college. multiple problems in this country.perhaps the station is receiving too much money gifts from areas that would suppress real news.look forward to Aljarzeera radio and Tv for real news.
The Benghazi scandal has "diminished in it's intensity" which was the whole idea for the delay after the election and "period...the end" is the politically unbiased media's neat and preferred narrative to this atrocity against an ambassador and its cover-up. If this was a Republican President just think of the award winning investigative journalism that would be produced but instead we get ""period...the end" from the Fourth Estate.
BTW..Still no discussion about the colorful remarks of Egypt's new leadership while the Obama administration provides millions of dollars worth of arms while issuing Executive Orders directed at Americans?
"..after months of grousing about old rules that preserve dysfunction in the Senate.."
So filibustering is dysfunction in the "world's greatest deliberative body in the world" when the Democrats are the majority but not passing a budget in three years which is a violation of the law since 1974 while spending trillions that will bankrupt the economy is no big deal because the sky isn't falling?
