Syria's Dictator Losing His Grip

On this second anniversary of the Arab Spring, the civil war in Syria continues. As President Bashar al-Assad continues to loose his grip on power, the question remains how much longer will he be able to hold on, and at what cost. 

Robin Wright is a journalist who has been covering the Middle East since 1973. Her article, “Assad’s Playbook Is Now Empty,” appeared last week in The Atlantic.
