To give Kristin, an avowed Lord of the Rings Movie hater, the mic was really bad journalism and was a useless if not damaging review. That's like asking me to go review the next big Texas Chain Saw Massacre, even though I can't stand slasher films. What possible service did this perform. Very disappointed in an otherwise excellent program.

Young ironic hipsters are pessimistic Republicans in training. Of course such people would not like The Hobbit. They are more on the Orc side of things. Soon your reviewer will have her burb home, her Subaru with 2.3 children and the pure bred doggie in the prison in the back. She will shout viciously at other drivers as the cuts them off, late and hurrying to get her precious larvae to soccer practice. Such is her tragic fate.

What a bitchy little segment. I guess there is no escaping the dumbing down of media. Obviously Kristen has no ability to stave off ego and think critically. Her review was bigoted and emotionally stunted. Maybe John thinks its provocative radio but I wish they'd turn off her mic.

I think I will wait a decade and watch the trilogy of "The Hobbit" when it is all packaged and cheap on DVD or whatever the media will be

If neither one of these two liked Lord of the Rings, why would you have them review this movie? For Kristen to beg that people NOT go see this movie is ridiculous. She needs to pull her head out of her arse. There are plenty of people that love this genre of movie, especially Tolkien. Apparently, she does not have much in the way of culture.
