Hurricane Sandy has devastated New Jersey, particularly the state's 6th District, along the coast. The storm left half of the state — about two million New Jersey residents — without power, and a number of homes on the Jersey Shore have been completely destroyed.

Congressman Frank Pallone is the representative from New Jersey's 6th District. "This was a major catastrophe," he says.
