As the candidates prepare to face off again tonight in the second presidential debate, there is actually something the two men finally agree on: the format. Tonight's debate at Hofstra University is town-hall style, meaning all questions come from the audience. The debate is moderated by CNN's Candy Crowley, and both Romney and Obama have asked the Commission on Presidential Debates to disallow Crowley from asking any follow-up questions.
John Hockenberry spoke with Crowley a few weeks back about her role as the first female moderator chosen for a presidential debate in twenty years. While Crowley says she believes gender does matter, she also talked about her Midwestern upbringing that has shaped who she is as a journalist.
