President Obama repeated calls for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down yesterday and, for the first time, threatened military action against Syria if the Assad regime indicates it will use chemical weapons. The President's remarks come after reports that American officials discovered evidence that the Syrian government moved parts of its chemical weapons stockpile out of storage last month.

Amr Al-Azm, member of the Syrian Opposition and Professor at Shawnee State University, explains what this could mean for the Syrian uprising.

We are going in, even if it is in Israeli boots. It is too scarey a situation not to make sure that the chemical weapons are not secured.
