Many cities have rich musical traditions. But how can we decide what people listen to and how music shapes the culture of a certain location? Conrad Lee did the research for his PhD at the University College Dublin and by using social media he found out how to determine what people are listening to. He found where certain genres were trending and what kind of music is taking hold over cities.
