New Book Claims Castro Knew of JFK Assassination in Advance

Tuesday, April 24, 2012

John F. Kennedy led the nation for just shy of three years, but in that short time, a series of Cold War crises embroiled the JFK Administration into what nearly became an armed conflict with Castro’s Cuba. The disastrous Bay of Pigs invasion in 1961 destroyed relations between Kennedy and Castro, and the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 left Americans terrified of an impending nuclear war. The heightened tensions between Castro and the Kennedy Administration led many to believe that Fidel might have played a role in JFK’s assassination. Two federal investigations dismissed this idea, but a new book by former CIA analyst Brian Lattell claims that Castro knew of Lee Harvey Oswald’s assassination plot before the shots were fired from the Texas Book Depository on November 22nd, 1963.

Brian Latell is the author of "Castro's Secrets: The CIA and Cuba's Intelligence Machine" and a former CIA National Intelligence Officer for Latin America.

The assassination of JFK is proof there's no shadow government. At least no shadow government that actually controls anything. Before his killing America was ready to swallow any pill the military-industrial complex would put out. Killing the president brought a cultural change that has lasted up to this day: the complete distrust in the American government by Americans. No longer is the government able to hide its misdeeds and machinations from the public eye. Politicians no longer have privacy or respect from journalists. If killing the president was to quell interest in their shady goings-on whoever pulled the trigger managed to bring about the call for transparency.

This "author" worked/works for the people who murdered our president -- the CIA and military intelligence.

They were fed up with Kennedy thinking he was president or something, so they shot his head off. The Bay of Pigs gang was an obvious choice to do the shooting and they have been trying to pin it on Castro ever since.

If you're interesting in this stuff, read THIS JFK book:

It explains the JFK assassination by following the trail, from Frank Sturgis, to Dick Cheney YES, DICK CHENEY!), to Alexander Haig, to Howard Hunt.

Any information (new or recycled) regarding the assassination of JFK that comes from CIA sources is likely one more piece of the cover up, and you collectively and individually should be shamed for adding to the myth. Stories like this are not why I contribute to WNYC. Let the established media continue the lie, I don't listen to and support you so you can continue the role of the bought media.
