Catching Up With Herman Cain

Thursday, April 12, 2012

He may no longer be making headlines or dropping one-liners at the debates, but former GOP front-runner Herman Cain is still an active presence in the Republican Party. The "Hermanator" spoke last night at an event sponsored by the Columbia University College Republicans. Stephen Reader, contributor to It's A Free Country, spoke with the GOP star about his campaign, the remaining Republican field, and his series of controversial YouTube videos.

Herman Cain cites his "Whopper College" experience as something that qualifies him for the department of defense...maybe he's onto something. Wasn't the name of the defense computer at NORAD in the move "War Games" called WOPR? Hmmm.

I just heard John Hockenberry lament that he misses Herman Cain and refer to him as "a breath of fresh air." What? Herman Cain is as close to a breath of fresh air as a fart in Volkwagen. THANKS FOR REMINDING ME, ONCE AGAIN, WHY I NO LONGER GIVE MONEY TO "NPR FAIR AND BALANCED," YOU ASS WIPE!
