The makers of Twilight must be mentally unstable. The whole allure of vampires is that they're tragic beings - immortal but forced to struggle (or not) for their humanity. They can't sire, eat, enjoy warmth, and in some cases, love. They are undead. This movie has them enjoying everything humans enjoy and having babies? Seriously?

It's like putting a bonnet on an alligator and giving it to your daughter as a cuddly indoor pet. These movies are saying to young women that the dangerous guy they want so bad will always care for them. But in reality those guys will always see them as food.
