Many of you had a lot to say about Occupy Wall Street, and the eviction of the protesters from New York's Zuccotti Park. From those applauding Mayor Bloomberg's raid on the camp to those who think the demonstrators' First Amendment rights were trampled upon, this is what Takeaway listeners are saying.

The Oakland mayor said she was on a conference call with 15-18 mayors of other occupied cities.
It would be nice to get report on what was said, why and if there was consensus that all/most should take the same action.

In my own case, it looks as tho the crackdown has energized OWS. I plan to attend the Occupy Providence protest tomorrow at the state capitol building.
But I do think the movement needs to do more than "occupy." The one percent will just wait us out unless we start working (yes, thru the political process) for true financial reform.
