Senate Republicans Unveil Jobs Plan

Friday, October 14, 2011

Yesterday, Senate Republicans pitched a jobs plan called "The Real American Jobs Act," which includes lowering tax rates and broadening the tax base, and repealing "Obamacare," the Democratic health care reforms. The bill is mainly a round-up of two dozen GOP bills.

The Republicans have jobs programs. The Republicans are known to be anti-government, anti-union, and more. What kind work environments, physical environments, social environments will these bill provide. Some of my American ancestors enjoyed full-employment- is was called slavery. After over 250 years some government action, The Civil War, removed that one. As the Industrial Revolution started growing at the dawn of our nation in the late 1700's, those who worked in factories, mines, and wherever else, enjoyed 6 to 7 day workweeks with 12 hour a day, serious injuries and deaths were common place. from the very very late 1800's to 1960's through unions we got the 40 hour workweek, safer work conditions, and some controls over our work environment. Remember when Lake Eire burned, the chocking smog in and around our cities in the 1940's through 1970's, the unedible fish in our polluted-lead,PCBs,and many more- lakes and rivers.... I WONDER!!!!!
