North Carolinians Prepare as Irene Continues Northward

Thursday, August 25, 2011

Hurricane Irene is gaining strength and traveling north, after pummeling the Bahamas with 115 mph winds today. The Category 3 storm is headed for North Carolina next. As residents wait for confirmation of the storm's trajectory, they are preparing their homes and businesses for the weather.
