It is a bit weird that so little is said about companies which have increased the burden on current employees even as business increases instead of hiring new employees.
A friend of mine is an architect in a prominent firm. In the height of recession the firm reduced its workforce by 20%. Business has been steadily increasing for the past year but there is no hiring of new employees. My friends and his co-workers have been working longer hours and not infrequently he goes home long after midnight. He tells me he has never been the last one to leave work.
