Bob Graham: From Senator to Novelist

Wednesday, June 08, 2011

Bob Graham has accomplished a lot in his career. He served as governor, then senator of Florida, and on the 9/11 Congressional Inquiry Commission. Former Sen. Graham can now add “novelist” to his long list of achievements. His new book is called "Keys to the Kingdom: A Novel of Suspense." And while it’s fiction, some of the events and characters in the book bear a striking resemblance to former Graham’s real life.

Former Sen. Bob Graham joins us today in the studio.

Guests:

Senator Bob Graham

Senator. I met you in 1982 or 83 at the didcaton of your beach on hutchinson island fl. where I was a firefighter (had just been hired) am now retired after 25 + years. I always liked you as gov and Senator. You always seemed to be a good honest gentleman and it meant alot to my partner and I that day when you took the time to speak with us and treat a couple of 22 year old kids with the repect you showed us. Point is, and hate to bother you, but would you please run for president? God bless you and hope you are well. We need your help with county. Thank you Lt Potter Martin County fire rescue ret.
