Eric Cantor: State of the Union Words Not Actions

Thursday, January 28, 2010

President Obama delivered his State of the Union Wednesday night in the midst of his job approval rating being the most polarized of any first-year president. According to a recent Gallup Poll, there is a 65 percentage point gab between Democrats and Republicans. We turn to House Minority Whip Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) for a Republican's take on President Obama's speech.

I am so tired of Eric Cantor talking down this president. He constantly says that "actions speak louder than words". I agree. Representative Cantor, where are your actions? You have done absolutely nothing to help the people of this country you are only interested in feathering your own political ambitions. You and your colleagues don't care about people, only yourselves.

All the Obama yearns for is big government showing favoritism to the government employee and Unions. Living in Florida it seems as though the lines between republican or democrat are very fine to the point they look like they are the same party. We just were promised a Choo Choo train that the state does not even want. Apparently CSX bought enough Republicans and Democrats to get this "Economic Boondoggle" of a "White Elephant" to fly. The tax payers of Florida are going to be stuck with one of the largest tax burdens in this train. This is all occurring while Florida is in the midst of a financial crisis. Why can't our so called leaders use some common sense instead of being bought off. I will not vote for anyone who supports this choo choo train.

President Obama speech was one that will go down in the history books as a great speech. He is honest , upfront and very smart. What he said is right on!! I am proud to have a President that speaks directly to the people . Republicans again want to bring him down. They never have a plan and the only thing they can do is be mean and hateful. They are so jealous of this President and if they had half the brains of President Obama they would not act like they do. They are so disrespectful and only want what is good for them and big business. Money Money Money!!!!! I am so fed up with their actions. The media has to stop playing on their behalf and start focusing on what has to be done. President Obama you are for the people!! We love you!!!!
