Good Week, Bad Week: Divorces and Edgar Allan Poe

Friday, January 22, 2010

Every seven days, the editors of The Week put their stamp on the news with their "Good Week/Bad Week" feature.

This week was a good week if you were planning on filing for a divorce, but a bad week if you happen to be 19th-century author Edgar Allan Poe, who may have lost a very special admirer

Send us your nominations for who had a good week and who a bad week at mytake@thetakeaway.org or 877-8-MY TAKE.

Good Week Bad Week? Maybe this is too obvious to mention but it was certainly a bad week for voting in Massachusetts. It is still unbelievable that Scott Brown won Ted Kennedy's seat in the Senate.
