Takeouts: President's First Year in Office

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

We check in with two states, Missouri and Georgia – both states that went to Sen. John McCain in 2008 – to see how voters view President Obama today and what they think he needs to do going forward.

We hear from Susanna Capelouto, news director for Georgia Public Broadcasting, and Adam Allington, a reporter for St. Louis Public Radio, about how Obama is perceived in their home states. We also hear voices from the National Mall in Washington D.C. about health care, jobs and what they hope the president will accomplish in the next year.
