News outlets in Miami are playing a special role in covering the Haiti earthquake, both in Haiti and in South Florida, where a large Haitian community resides.

We speak with Joshua Johnson, a reporter and host for WLRN Miami Herald News. He has a special airing this morning called “Disaster in Haiti” that documents both events in Haiti and Miami's Haitian community in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake.
