Enter our clever canine contest!

Saturday, February 12, 2011 - 06:00 AM

Hounds, Poodles and Bulldogs, oh my! It's that time of year again, when 2500 dogs converge on New York City to take part in the Westminster Dog Show. These dogs may be stylishly groomed and trained to perfection, but are these dogs the smartest in the country? We'll talk with two trainers about canine intelligence and about how they taught their dog “Chaser” to develop a vocabulary of over two thousand words. But first, we need your help. Is your canine particularly clever?

Take part in our "smartest dog" contest. Show off your super smart dog by using the Takeaway iPhone App to upload video and pictures or by adding a picture below. See our video entries here.

wanted to submit a video of my smart dog, shwaggy, but I don't have the original any more, just this link :

His name is Shwaggy. He is smart because he will do anything for a treat! Here he closes the door.

He would even jump off a cliff and eat his treat on the way down to his demise!
