They're a liability unless they're an asset. Obama's kids are cute and stylish like good accessories - and news venues have covered stories about how Michelle wakes up at 4:30am every morning to take care of them and still have a career. Palin's kids don't visually epitomize her purported values and there are just too many of them. It will be harder to get a handle on the personalities of all five. Also, maybe I've just missed the articles that talk about Mr. Palin's dedication to the care of the children?
