Peter Gleick

Peter H. Gleick is co-founder and president of the Pacific Institute for Studies in Development, Environment, and Security in Oakland, California. His focus on water issues led him to write the report, “Water: Threats and Opportunities – Recommendations For the Next President.” Gleick was named a MacArthur Fellow in October 2003, and currently holds a position as a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
