It's mid-November which means that most Americans are thinking about the home stretch towards Thanksgiving: packing bags, confirming reservations, looking up recipes. But in Washington, there's a whole different kind of scramble. This Wednesday, November 23, the bipartisan congressional "super committee" must come to a deal on a strategy to reduce the deficit or face serious penalties.

Another week ends with little progress made in the debt ceiling talks in Washington. President Obama will speak at a press conference for Friday morning at 11 a.m. (EST), but all indicators point to little headway being made towards a compromise. 

House Majority Whip Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) joins us with the very latest on the contentious health care reform bill that will likely see a vote in Congress later this week.

Yesterday, we spoke with House Minority Whip Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.,) about the Republican plan for health care reform. Today we talk with House Majority Whip Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.), who has just one more day to line up votes for the House Democrats' health care reform plan. Ahead of Saturday's expected vote, he joins us for a look at what's in and what's out in the Democrats' bill.
