Douglas Massey is professor of Sociology at Princeton University and co-director of the Mexican Migration Project at Princeton's Office of Population Research. Massey is the author of "Smoke and Mirrors: U.S. Immigration Policy in the Age of Globalization" (2001, with Jorge Durand and Nolan Malone) and "Worlds in Motion: International Migration at the End of the Millennium" (1998, with Joaquín Arango, Graeme Hugo, Ali Kouaouci, Adela Pellegrino and J. Edward Taylor).
