Jim Colgan
Jim Colgan was a producer at "The Brian Lehrer Show" for almost 6 years, where he initiated many of the show’s digital efforts, including its citizen journalist crowdsourcing experiments. A Dublin native, he first came to New York as a reporter for "The Irish Voice," and worked as a freelance producer for for WNYC, NPR, the BBC in Northern Ireland, RTE, and Vermont Public Radio, among other outlets. Colgan has also written about technology and business issues for the Irish Times. He studied economics at Trinity College in Dublin and film at Hunter College in New York.
