OMG... I got "promoted" once from the classroom and the gym as a coach and teacher to 'central office'... I went from the track, gym, classroom to a cubicle.. omg..it was the worst year of my life.

BUT that is me. It made my heart sink... BUT I'm so glad it is affording you a lifestyle. we all do what we do.

I took the picture of the dunkin donuts cups and submitted, I'm from Brooklyn, CT not Staten Island, NY, hahaha, but either way it was cool to hear it being talked about on the radio in depth!!!

I forgot to mention that I borrowed the big F450 pickup! Hahaha. I drive a 1980 diesel VW rabbit.

I can't relate to the photos. I am a single man who owns a house and a car. I pay high municipal taxes and get very little services or respect for it. The city laws control my aesthetics and behavior. On weekends I walk through big box stores. I rarely buy. I rent movies. I don't own iPads or iPhones because I don't believe in paying a lot to show that I'm part of a self-indulgent subculture. I live in a Great Depression mode for my income level. If only 8% of us are unemployed I wonder why we're in crisis mode. A lot of the pictures seem like material pride. My blinds stay closed to prevent envy from passers-by. Friends and family stopped visiting when I got my American Dream. It's soul-crushingly lonely.

It's great to have this opportunity to talk about class. When did working class get replaced by the phrase middle class?
