So after months of hyperbole and the worst kind of gloom and doom from everyone associated with the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, it's suddenly over.

The well is plugged and the shrimp are back in the nets, and even the oysters are busy filtering the nasty chemicals that came from the disaster. The wetlands are showing signs of a comeback and some of the species that were given up for goners are, we're told, just fine.
Sea turtles maybe an unfortunate exception here, but even though the Feds, sensing that the worst has passed, have stopped moving turtle nests away from the spill zone, the fate of turtles is still a mystery.
The Gulf economy has shown resilience, and the additional recession predicted for oil drillers after the Federal moratorium on deepwater drilling went into effect has failed to materialize.
Claims that this was Obama's Katrina have proved absurd and estimates of monetary claims have ranged from payouts in the millions to estimates well over 32 billion bucks.
Having trouble understanding what's going on? We met a lot of great folks since April 20th who have shared their expertise and stories of the gulf spill. Ranging from scientists to fishermen to oil experts to politicians to volunteers, they have all helped us to develop a picture of this complex story.
Now we go back to them and more to make sure we understand "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?"
We want your stories and questions. I hope they answer mine: I always heard that oil and water don't mix and that oil floats on the water. How come most of the BP oil gusher that hasn't been dissipated is reportedly on the bottom of the Gulf? What... oil SINKS?
Can't wait to ask that one.

Hockenberry used to rant on how bad George Bush was on the Infinite Mind......................He was the worst President.....Evah
But now Barak Hussein Obama orders chemicals used in the gulf so the oil just sinks.........................Chemicals that will have an effect on the food chain
But John Hockenberry is D & D, just like in the movie "On the Water Front"
Do not let reality get in the way of his political world view...............no matter how sick that view is......
Hockenberry is on a fake mission....
Let's find out how our Great Leader Barak Hussein Obama saved our Oceans
Hockenberry is a Fake.................A Phoney...............and a fraud
He Prays at the feet of the Socialist Democratic Party and any one who does not follow the PARTY LINE is to be Destroyed..........Look at what he & NPR did to Juan Williams...A strong Black man that refused to bow to his mind control.
.....................John, We don't buy your Snake Oil............It's just a bottle of Obama's Gulf Chemicals
