Before there was Conan, Letterman and Fallon, there was Cavett. Tomorrow we'll speak to the former host of the Dick Cavett Show (Dick Cavett) about the role of a talk show host today. And we're asking, if you had your own talk show, who would you want to interview most?

I would most want to interview Mike Patton. He's busier now than he was when he was pulling double duty with Faith No More and Mr. Bungle. He's one of the only rock/alternative/metal performers that is as relevant today as he was on the late 80's/90's alternative scene.
I would interview Dick Cavett. I adored his talk show, and miss that kind of intelligent conversation in today's offerings. He would have so much to offer the listeners and watchers of modern tv-radio-etc. Things like educated statements, intelligent humor, and straight from the hip comments. He's the best!!!
I'd interview my mother and ask her what she was feeling when she beat my siblings and me. As a parent of grown children, I don't understand how one can justify such physical and psychic cruelty.
A Tag Team of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. I'd ask them if they're aware at all that the people who listen to them consider their rhetoric fact, rather than opinion?
Garrison Keillor.
The dark lord himself. Seriously, I would interview Cheney.
Ben Franklin.
Oprah. There are so many questions I would ask about what she has learned from all the people she has met.
If not the Honey Mooners, the what would you do? Stay in radio.
Dr. Cornel West, Dr. Naim Akbar, Juillanne Malveaux, Robert Graves. I would love to interview them on the State of the African American community in light of the last election and the future pending 2012 election year.
Barack Obama and Madonna -- and I wouldn't hold back!
Thomas Jefferson.
Neil Peart.
Georgia O'Keefe.
John Hancock and Samuel Adams...as a historical tour guide I'd bet they have some great stories!
Jackie Gleason.
God. If busy, I would settle for Sir Alexander Fleming. If unavailable, there's about 1,000 alive, all tied for third.
Hockenberry!!!
Huge Chavez
Bush.
Bush.
