My daughter's dog Benny with my Siamese cats. I felt a bit guilty for placing him here...

The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show just wrapped up, and announcing the winner of The Takeaway's dog show! More than a hundred listeners sent photos of their dogs via Facebook and email and everyone else got the chance to vote. Now we have a winner: It's a chihuahua named Benny, submitted by Barbara Fullerton.
You can hear WNYC's resident dog expert, Sarah Montague, make some sharp observations about a few of the other contestants.

Loved look at all the adorable dogs especially after watching the Westminster Dog Show last night. I especially loved how many photos are of rescue dogs.
Now I want to adopt a dog.
Is there a way we can see the number of votes each dog received? I am interested to see how many - if any - my boy Leo got.

Such rapid-fire, breathless yapping. You guys are trying way too hard. I'll stream Amy Goodman from now on, thanks. I hear "the kids" like her too.

Paul and Odie Roscoe in NYC
Sent 2 photos for dog pictures but none have been posted. Any reason?
Both wrong -- It's the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Few get it right, so don't feel bad.
I can't find any explanation of how to send in our dog picture. I'm sure it isn't snail-mail. There must be somewhere to upload but it is not jumping out at me. Help quick!
I believe I just heard Celeste refer to the big dog show as the Westminister Dog Show - Ouch! It's Westminster, not like a preacher. I live near Westminster, Colorado and hear this mistake quite often - always drives me crazy. I apologize if I'm wrong and Celeste did pronounce it correctly.
Thank you!
