Your Political Party

We're talking about the Tea Party Convention taking place this week in Nashville, and asking our listeners: If you created your own third party, what would you call it and what would be your platform?

The Political Party name would be: The Ephesians Project
The Platform would be: Saving our Young People, and our Future GENERATION
There are more juveniles in trouble in this century,
many teens are gangs affiliated, many or our teens may attend class but never graduate, then drop out.
Many of our teens are in the court system, and many of the teens in the United States are horrifically disrespectful to their guardians, mother, father, grandparents, or teachers, there is little if any respect to authorities.
Rather than building more prisons rehabilitate teen early. For instance, a mandatory facility for those troubled youths to be committed into a confined facility, with school. Unlike “Scared Straight” These teens, would be placed on a contract by parents and law makers to straighten up or remain in confinement. Possibly eliminating repeat offenders as an adult, build youth jails that would put the fear and respect in young people to be encouraged to adhere to self government.
Parents must support through the process.

Since the Supreme Court's latest decision on campaign finance reform gave even more latitude to treat corporations like people, we need the "Corporate Party".

Big Business could run their business logo and cut out the "middleman politicians" who sometimes realize that to get re-elected they have to once and a while, listen to and vote for, their constituents.

Then John Boehner and the RNCC wouldn't have to send out a memo to their corporate sponsors reminding them they have been killing all the legislation Big Business doesn't want and now it is time to pony up with the campaign fundraising for their politicians.

The "one and out" party for people willing to pledge and stick to that pledge of serving only one term.

There are Democrats (lots of ideas and heart with no spine), and Republicans (guns, money, and spine but no heart). There are independents (ideas and spine, but no muscle) and extremists (only one idea). It may be that all these are actually the puppets of the corporations (lots of ideas, lots of money, a strong spine, lots of muscle, and make the guns).

What I want:
- Bring all our national guard home immediately.
- Stop all US led offensive military action immediately.
- Stop all new deployments. Any soldier home now stays home.
- Withdraw troops from every location around the world to the level of two native soldiers can have one US soldier to train them and "have their back" starting immediately and continuing for three months (while the guard are leaving).
-Leave any military equipment we have shipped to their countries that they are already fully trained to use.
- After three months begin drawing down to 50 native to one US soldier and complete the draw down in nine months.

Mr. President: Yes you can, and this is a change I can believe in.

The TOGA PARTY
Premise: That clothing is at the root of all of society's ills.
Solution: Mandated National Uniform: The Toga.
Reasons and Benefits of the Toga:
* Pays homage to our Greco-Roman heritage.
* Only minimum adjustments required between male or female togas, advancing the cause of gender equality.
* Eliminates class distinction based on wardrobe.
* Crime reduction: youth no longer lured into criminal activity for the obtainment of $120 high-fashion sneakers.
*As an obese nation, the Toga provides maximum obfuscation of one's personal shape, and eliminates unsightfulness of ill-advised use of spandex, displays of the midriff, cleavage, and butt cracks.
World Peace is the inevitable sequellae.

The party would be called " The Big Middle"

It would strive to mobilize all moderates while marginalizing the extreme Right and Left.

The party members would be fiscally conservative, i.e. spending taxpayer dollars like they would spend their own. Seeking good value for every dollar spent. Balance the budget and if necessary raise taxes equitably to pay for programs America truly needs (health care, infrastructure, education, technological innovation, etc.)

The party will also be Socially Responsible to all US citizens reaching out to help those who need it most.

The party will also stand for:

Establishing term-limits and requiring complete transparency for all government officials.

Limited ( very limited if any) Rights for corporate entities. Rights should belong to citizens.

Regulated lobbying and legislator should be required to actually write their own laws.

Re-examination of our foreign policy that would cut off aide to all dictatorial regimes regardless of their short term stategic value while supporting efforts to end worldwide hunger and poverty. In the long term, this will make us stronger.

The Plebiscite Party - Named after the plebiscite, or referendum method of democracy. We hear "the American want X and don't want Y." Yet, apart from California, referendums are rather few in the USA.
Swiss voters go further than California voters insofar as the Swiss Cantons now allow both on-line, polling place, and absentee ballot plebiscite (referendum) voting throughout the year, not just the first Tuesday each November.

In my mind, from what I can ascertain by what people are proclaiming, any third party associated to the so-called tea parties should be called: HATERS.

The country is tired of all these cry babies complaining about any constructive thinking that might be coming forth from either of the political parties.

How can you call the tea party the third party when the libertarian party and the green party have successfully organized and run presidential candidates over the past 12 years

I really wonder how important this Tea Party movement is and how much is just hype by the media. It seems to me that most of the people involved are from the fringe and have always been there. Without the constant coverage, both liberal and conservative, this movement would probably just fade back to where it belongs.

"The Capitolism Party"
The platform would be titled "Honesty"
Very simple,
This party would post the upcomming Senate and House votes online in catalog form. Each vote would have a price tag. On checkout, the party would commit it's members to the purchaced decision.

1. Today The Media Attacked Mr. LaHood, when he was right in saying what he said, yet he back peddled from his earlier statement, when the Media went Ballistic over his statement.

2. Today his Warnings Appear to be Correct, with the Prius, which was not part of those Toyota Cars that were Recalled by Toyota Initially.

Note: Toyota Problems Appears to be Electrical, Mechanical Or Computer Sensor Errors, Maybe All the Above ?

I said Appears to be [Disclaimer]

3. But it's Clearly Not The Floor Mat Excuse, which was Initially what Toyota Claimed was the Problem.

4. Toyota also had this Problem in Japan, for some Odd Reason that Problem was Not Exposed until after the Fact...

[Car Deaths In The USA !!]

GM and Ford Car Sales are Benefiting from this Problem as well as other Car Makers.

[THINK]
