Tonight about a dozen competitors will spell off in the finals of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Spellers are all between the ages of 9 and 15. What began with 293 spellers, is now narrowed down to 41, and by the end of the day there will be only one. The winner will receive $30,000 in cash, as well as thousands more in scholarships, bonds and encyclopedias. Think you can make the spelling bee cut? Take the test at the bee's site, and make sure to tune in tonight at 8:00 PM on ABC to cheer on your favorite speller.
