Question of the day: In a dream world... I would get paid to _________

Wednesday, May 21, 2008 - 12:00 AM

Cartoonist Jason Polan wants to draw you. And everyone else in New York City. And he'll do it for free. On Thursday's Takeaway, John and Adaora are talking about your unpaid passions. What do you wish you could be paid to do? Share your story by clicking "get in the mix", by emailing mytake@thetakeaway.org, or by calling our SpinVox line at 1-877-8-MY-TAKE. Then, tune in Thursday to hear what everyone else had to say.

Promote to the rest of the world the community in which I live. It's a great place.

The news that Israel & Syria are having secret talks completely validates President Carter's recent meeting with Hamas. It underlines the diplomatic tone-deafness of the current administration which is totally hamstrung by it's We Never Talk To Terrorists Or Their Supporters rhetoric. Thus, we are constantly out of the mix, and can only, lamely, "approve" of the talks when we get blind-sided by the news.

Do everyone a favor--end the embarrassment. Cancel the Takeaway; it's awful.

Living the dream

Wow! Awesome response - 2 posts!!! Does that mean we're all already living the dream?

Of just dreaming of a world where the Takeaway doesn't exist?
