Question of the day: In a dream world... I would get paid to _________
Wednesday, May 21 2008
Cartoonist Jason Polan wants to draw you. And everyone else in New York City. And he'll do it for free. On Thursday's Takeaway, John and Adaora are talking about your unpaid passions. What do you wish you could be paid to do? Share your story by clicking "get in the mix", by emailing mytake@thetakeaway.org, or by calling our SpinVox line at 1-877-8-MY-TAKE. Then, tune in Thursday to hear what everyone else had to say.

"Man Playing Banjo on the 5th Avenue and 53rd Street Downtown Platform - May 12, 2008" (Jason Polan)
The news that Israel & Syria are having secret talks completely validates President Carter's recent meeting with Hamas. It underlines the diplomatic tone-deafness of the current administration which is totally hamstrung by it's We Never Talk To Terrorists Or Their Supporters rhetoric. Thus, we are constantly out of the mix, and can only, lamely, "approve" of the talks when we get blind-sided by the news.
