Question of the day: Myanmar's military is blocking aid. What should the United States do?

Up to 2.5 million Burmese were "severely affected" by last week's cyclone, but the ruling military junta is blocking the aid they need. What's the United States to do? What should we do? Dear TakeAway,
OK, I have listened to your show every morning, since you started - was it 3 weeks ago? I went on-line after the first week, ready to voice my outrage - & quickly saw that enough of my fellow-listeners were venting enough before me...so I held off.
After a few weeks, I am beginning to "get it" - I understand what you are trying to do - I respect both hosts from all their previous contributions to NPR. You have heard all the perceived flaws already - but I agree, you should continue, because I believe you are contributing an important addition to daily listening.
My suggestion - those of us who are used to listening to Morning Edition from 5AM - 7AM - that includes me...please give us back our Morning Edition on FM at 6AM?? Please??
Suggestion:
Either put TakeAway on at 6AM on 820AM - or better yet, why not put it on FM at 9AM - instead of having the BBC news on both AM & FM at 9AM?
BBC news is OK, when I want to listen to them, I listen at 5AM on 820AM...but when I am driving to work at 9AM - it would be so nice to have a choice....so please consider giving us 6AM'ers back our Morning Edition fix...and move the TakeAway FM show to the 9AM hour?
Many thanks!
Devoted NPR listener,
Harriet Levine

You still got it wrong re Berma. You didn't accept responsibility for interrupting your guest nor did you give any thought to the fact that your guest was asking permission ot enter someone's eleses country by suggesting he highten the retoric by calling the situation "hostage taking".
The point you said you we missed had nothing to do with you guest. You were wrong, you degraded your program. Sounded like Jerry Springer.
When a mistake is made own up to it.

TakeAway is ruining my morning routine. I'll even listen to 10:10 WINS to avoid this dumb show!

Harriet: Don't be an appeaser. Trust me, it never works :)

Lorenzo and Others, please take note of what discussion thread you are putting your comments into. Critiques on the show should be put into reinvent Mornings section and not in other discussions. Thanks for adhering to discussions etiquette for all of us.

I have already expressed my criticism of the show [it's awful] , howvere this web sitre is not easy to navigate either. There are at vleast three ways to access the comments such as this. One way provides the comment section, another lets the viewer rate the comments. It takes several moves to find the "right" section/topic on which to comment. As others have pointed out, most comments are about the show, not the news.
bring back Morining Edition please.
