Tucker Bounds is one of Republican presidential nominee John McCain’s top campaign representatives. The Takeaway speaks with Bounds about the suspension of the Senator's campaign, the call to call off the first presidential debate Friday, the congressional financial bailout, the latest polls, lobbying and Governor Sarah Palin.

Has anyone confirmed/refuted Bounds' claim from this morning about McCain getting called back to Congress? First Bounds says that Nancy Pelosi called McCain to come back. Then, a few breaths later, he says something about Harry Reid calling McCain back. I just read a statement that Reid issued yesterday telling McCain NOT to come back.
