I'm sure you'll have other people on to give other views about the long term picture in Iraq, but I don't understand the decision to invite O'Hanlon on to the show to speak about it at all. He's been consistently intellectually dishonest on the topic, willing to say whatever he thinks is necessary to justify staying longer. Today he said that he didn't think 2009 was a good time to leave, but 2010 was. But as it gets closer to the time when withdrawal would have to begin for any serious amount to take place in 2010, you can be sure he'll oppose it, whatever is going on in Iraq at the time.
