The "Kill List": It's the President's shifting roster of names of high-profile targets. If you're a suspected terrorist, it could be the last list your name appears on before the United States government ends your life. The Obama administration appears to be the first presidential administration to keep such a list.
Was the template for this list was written by the policies of previous administrations? And what does the president's hands-on role in monitoring this list say about his leadership style? I now have a deeper understanding of why President Obama was so insistent on shielding Bush, Cheney,Rumsfeld et. al. from war crimes charges. Hope I live to see the day the Bush and Obama teams are brought to account for their crimes against humanity in the International Criminal Court. (Bet I'm on the list)
Romney must be polling great. Time for the media to start prepping the anti-war machinery. Democrat President with kill list-good, Republican President with kill list-bad. Within a week of Romney entering office Code Pink will suddenly become front page news and anti-drone marches will begin.
A DEMOCRACY cannot possibly create or possess a KILL list - conclusion - we are no longer FREE.
"What's interesting here and very different.." is that capturing terrorists and throwing purified water in the face of three of them to get urgent information is a war crime but targeted hits against unknown people gets a giant yawn from the media and the now missing anti-war movement. Remember those frauds?
Gee, ya think all that concern about human rights of terror of suspects during the Bush administration was a big cynical lie of "progressives" who only care about furthering their domestic political agenda?
"He's got David Axelrod in the room" Hey, how about exploring that in a discussion?
Does politics have equal importance with national security in this administration?
I remember Obama four years ago, campaigning on a platform of closing the Guantanamo Bay detention facility and ending "torture."
Hopefully, The Takeaway will be able to find some way to blame George W. Bush and Dick Cheney for Obama's operation of an executive branch assasination team.
