Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney senses the worst may be over for him and goes after a confident Newt Gingrich looking for another come-from-behind victory in the Florida Primary. Also, Romney bowing to pressure, has released two years of tax returns. Reviews of his 2010 return show Romney paying nearly $3 million in federal taxes on $ 21.7 million of income. That's a tax rate of just under 14 percent

Again, I'm not a big fan of Romney… but "Out of touch with America"? Which America? The free market society that allows anyone to start a business, use their intellect and skills to create and solve problems, and as a reward become wealthy (isn't that the so called American Dream everyone seems to want?); A place where you can invest your earnings in organizations (for and non profit) that will use your money to create and solve problems while hiring independent contractors and employees? …Or is it the other America? The America that: complains about the successes of others; spends 35 hours a week on average in front of the stupid-tube; is obese (the leading cause of non-productivity, illness, and death); stands around the water cooler drinking in gossip and eating the candy of pop culture; has vision to the tip of their noses; foolishly overspends beyond their means, including housing, creating debt, not wealth? …Which America is Romney out of touch with?
I'm not a Romney supporter, but can we PLEASE stop complaining about a guy who used his skills and intelligence to legally earn lots of money and pay a lot more taxes than most of us ever will?! I would love to pay $3M a year in taxes! In fact, that's one of my indirect goals as a bi-product of earning through a free market society. Earn as much as you can. Save as much as you can. Give away as much as you can. Pay as much taxes as you must. Give to God what is God's and to Caesar what is Caesar's. Use your skills and intelligence and earn what you're worth. Stop complaining and get to work. If you have a problem with the tax code, vote!
Gingrich's hypocrisy knows no bounds. I refer you to the following article in the current Forbes titled "Gingrich Used Payroll Tax Ploy Often Attacked By IRS". It certainly deserves discussion on your show.
