Earlier this month, NYU graduate student Josh Begley began tweeting every reported American drone strike — starting in 2002. His feed, Dronestream, highlights the growing prevalence of a lethal tactic known as the "double tap." The tactic involves bombing a target repeatedly in relatively quick succession. It often results in the death of rescuers responding to the initial attack.

Of course this story is bigger than this one report - no complaints, just keep moving the info to the citizens, and accept my thanks.
There is the topic of Drone bombing and whether it is right or wrong but I couldn't understand why it was taking so long to go through the tweets and count the number of attacks... on a daily or weekly basis.
"This odd project" called journalism.
Must we wait for a Republican President for serious war reporting and anti-war protesting to be cool again?
At least high level terrorists are not getting purified water poured on their face when they can actually give useful information while getting the best medical supervision available. That would be a possible war crime like the so-called Christmas Bombing of forty years ago which virtually ended the Vietnam War.
Any Christmas drone strikes this year bringing our the press and the protesters? If not, why not?
