Attack ads have been a fixture of this election, but on Wednesday a 22-minute-long video titled “Dishonorable Disclosures” was released by the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund.
The ad criticizes President Obama and his administration for taking full credit for the killing of Osama Bin Laden, and for leaking vital secret information about the mission to the public.
While the organization, which is set up as a 501(c)(4), claims to have no partisan leanings, they’ve already raised about a million dollars and have hopes to raise more in order to have the ad broadcast on television in swing states.
Scott Taylor is the president of the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund and a former Navy Seal and Iraq war veteran.

John,
Your interview of the so-called patriot from OPSEC was great. When he said that the OPSEC donors were patriotic, but did not want to share their identity, I wish you had asked why these "patriot" were afraid to be identified. If I had supported that untruthful video I would be ashamed, too. REAL PATRIOTS are not afraid to be identified.
Thanks
There should be respect for the president and the office of the president. The same way he has respected and given credit to the president.
Your guest and the group he belongs to is a dishonest piece of trash and a disgrace to the US military.
This is NOT secret information that the US military executed Bin Laden.
Ever heard of Brewster Jennings? Who should be punished for blowing its cover?
Gimmeabreak...
Would I prefer to have Bin Laden captured or killed EVEN IF the sources used to track him down are disclosed OR would I want this maniac free to go on planning how to kill? That's an easy one.
The bigottry of the people who are trying to kill or jail julian asance is colossal, let this guy go anywhere in the world and put him to work as a proffesor in computers or something...i cannot believe the minds of these devils who are trying to trap him
Obviously yet another right wing group attempting to besmirch the President's character and twist his words. Swiftboaters live I guess.
I guess there are different kinds of 501(c)(4) organizations. The ones that get cross-examined on The Takeaway, and the ones that are welcomed.
Because Scott Taylor's group is critical of Obama, they get the cross-examination treatment. And a kind of a tax audit from John Hockenberry.
But with a favored left-wing cause like gun control, a 501(c)(4) organization like the Brady Campaign to Reduce Gun Violence, there is no mention of tax status or funding. Don't beleive me? Here:

Best informed interview. Hooray!!!
Sounds like Mr. Taylor is as unbiased as Mr. Hockenberry.
Obama is our President and should be respected by the Military forces he leads...
If there are leaks, they should be fixed but bringing this up now is suspect.
What does Scott Taylor think about leaks prior to Obama's presidency...Why was Special Ops not able to find Bin Laden during the prior administration? Were there leaks back then?
I bet there are some Special Ops guys willing to have a conversation about leaks about finding Bin Laden during the Bush Administration but would rather not bad mouth their former Commanding Officer, but they probably will be asked to come forward now and I'd be curious to hear what they have to say.
Really enjoyed hearing John asking all the right questions and exposing the real motivations of this partisan group! It was so frustrating to witness the Swiftwater group succeeding with their vicious attacks, their attempts at perverting the honorable actions of a veteran to promote the cause of someone who did not put his life on the line - let's prevent this from happening again.
Are you serious ? Non-partisan, Mysterious donors ? I call Bulls**t.
John's pointed tone while also allowing Mr. Taylor to have his full say was great. It irked Mr. Taylor just enough to elicit his animous for the President without him even realizing it. Mr. Taylor's proclamation that "I don't care about political affilations" made him sound silly, almost sophomoric, and left no doubt exactly where he's coming from.
Okay, I can't even get to this guy's message because he's so inarticulate. I hope the documentary isn't as incapable of articulating an opinion and speaking in cliches. Seriously, get your organization an official spokesperson with some background in public speaking, debate, and/or public relations. Or get thee to Toastmasters for some public speaking lessons. You only do your group's message a disservice by being vague and speaking in generalizations. This was a painful interview to listen to and it has nothing to do with partisanship.
These guys sound like a bunch of jerks.
::rolls eyes::
It is comical how the radio bubble head was doing his leftist best to trap the Seal in a corner of words.
Give them hell Keep up the good work Semper Fi [Korean Veteran}
