The images we often associate with Iraq are of destruction, war and dysfunction. But one man hopes to show people another side of the country, with a lovely tour down a Kurdistan river.
BBC reporter Gabriel Gatehouse joins us with a story about Azzam Alwash, an Iraqi-American who hopes his eco-tourism company will attract tourists to northern Iraq.

I would like to contact Dr. Azzam Alwash, in regard to bringing tourists to the marsh area as suggested on CBC Radio Canada Oct. 12 2010. I think we have a good idea and the experience to bring it forward.
