The authorities in Thailand say they've received a new offer of a ceasefire from anti-government protesters, who've been engaged in a violent stand-off with the army in Bangkok.
Nearly forty people have been killed in street fighting between the army and demonstrators since last week, and yesterday troops continued to fire live ammunition at young men burning tires around the protest site.
We talk to BBC correspondent Chris Hogg, who is in the capital Bangkok for the latest on the fighting.
