Making High Speed Rail a Reality

In last night's State of the Union address, President Obama proposed the ambitious goal of bringing high speed rail to America. He wants to devote eight billion dollars to be doled out to 31 states to overhaul their mass transit systems.

We talk to WNYC political correspondent Andrea Bernstein and Drew Galloway, Assistant Vice President of Policy and Development for Amtrak about the technology and politics that will bring our transit system up to speed.
